Dereham Youth Project
A wide range of free activities for teenagers. Funded by Breckland Council Coming this summer!
1-1 support
We have several 1-1 support options: 1-1 emotional wellbeing support - £20 per half hour session. Typical referrals are for young people who are struggling with low mood, self-esteem, anxiety, changes in family dynamics, bereavements, or similar. In-school mentoring - paid for by schools. £20 per half hour session. Typical referrals would be for young people who have difficult home lives, have low attendance or are at risk of permanent exclusion. We are working in partnership with Rise and Re
Swaffham Youth Project
We are launching a brand new youth group for teenagers on Thursday 18th June! Details are as follows: * Thursday evenings * 4:45-6:15pm * 11-18 year olds * £2 entry (please contact if unable to pay) * At The Arena, Sporle Road, Swaffham, PE37 7HL If your child would like to attend this group, please contact me at elliebrown@besideyouth.co.uk or 07706441448 to get a membership form. Watton Gardening Project
Our new community garden project is now up and running! Beside Youth C.I.C., in conjunction with Wayland Partnership, will be running a multigenerational project whereby adults from the community teach young people gardening and cooking skills. Our aims of this project are: * To teach teenagers new skills that they don’t often get the opportunity to learn * To improve the wellbeing of members of the community, particularly young people * To build a community whereby the older and young
